Question Roadmaster suspension

Has anyone had any experience using the roadmaster suspension system? I want to use it to help control body sway on the highway and in turns. Any thoughts?

I can't speak too much yet since I just installed it late Friday night and have maybe 50 miles on it(125 total on truck). It seems to have made an improvement. I can't wait to circle around to get on the interstate tomorrow to see how it handles.

Thanks Fireman, Keep me posted on what you have found out. I am really interested in the way they handle in the corners.

I didn't get a chance to play today due to traffic, but I did take turns faster than I would in my 97 4X4 with added rear sway bar. Even though I was going faster, I didn't feel near as much body roll. After driving the SCrew the first time, I didn't think it handled as good as my 4X4 did. Now, I think it handles much better. I'm glad I decided to try out the RAS.
There's a few tricks to installing it. It took forever to do the first side, but after I caught on, the other side was done in a matter of minutes.

Question

Fireman,
I appreciate the response. I think I will go ahead and order it. You mentioned that the one side took a little longer then the other. What were the tricks you came up with to make the installation easier? Thanks again for the help.

When you take the suspension out of the box, you see a threaded rod sticking out of the spring. When you put the other bracket on the rod, it won't be long enough. I made the mistake of taking the rod completely out of the spring. I then had to screw it all the way back in.
I'd put the short bracket screw in just enough to start the threads. Unscrew the rod out enough to start connecting it to the other bracket. By the time you screw in the short screw, it will be close to being adjusted. Also, the jam nuts in the middle of the rod are easier to work with than the ones on the end with the shackle.
Hopefully this helps. Enjoy the suspension!

It was $219 shipped to my door. I bought it straight from Roadmaster. I spoke with Chuck at 1-800-398-5036.
