HOwdy, Just checkin in with any and everyone who had lowered their Screw. I am not looking to go really low, just a 2/4 but I have lowered cars in the past and the ride and tire ware goes to hell once this type of mode is done, well alteast it did on past projects, so I am jsut woundering if anyone fo you have found a solution????

I had my alignment finally done over the weekend, now that I'm certain that the drop (3") is where I want it to be. The alignment guy said that 90% of these new F150's he sees do not have the camber kit installed and thus can not be aligned properly. He gave me kudos for doing my homework and having the bolts and cams in place. The truck is now back within the factory specs.
And that is the point. No, you don't have to have your truck at or near factory specs once it is lowered, but if you could, why wouldn't you want to? The factory does not provide the camber adjusters on most of our trucks, thus those of us modifying our suspension for the right look, handling and ride quality have to go the extra mile.
You could pay someone to do it all for you if you choose. I personally like to do it myself. As for those factory alignment shims, they are not two alike pairs which is very odd. When I realized this, it was worth it to me to have someone get my truck feeling and driving right.
Today is feels great...tight and together, lowered and worth all the efforts!

Whenever you lower any vehicle the ride quality will diminish somewhat while at the same time the handling improves. I can accept these pros and cons, but it has been my interest to get as low as possible with minimal loss of ride quality...thus my frequent changes.
FR #1 DJM springs, #2 Lightning springs, then #3 the ones I like, Eibach coil springs up front. These are the best of both worlds, great handling while getting a good drop.
RR #1 Hotchkis leafs, #2 Stock leafs w/shackles (2"), #3 Stock leafs w/hangers and shackles (at both 3 & 4" drops), currently at 4", but I'm thinking of going back to 3" this afternoon.
Payload frequently is lost, depending upon what you do. I have maintained mine and intend to keep it that way.

Sorry, have you set up a gallery, album or website w/pics of your truck?
As for the rear, I'm not thrilled with my ride at highway speeds, it can be more bouncy than I prefer at times. What shocks are you using, assuming that you are at a 4" drop.
Thanks

4/6 drop here...no complaints from the wife! lol
My truck is a little stiffer from stock mainly because
of the tires i went with....Goodyear F1 GSs(295/45-18s)
Payload not a problem, just picked up 20 50lb bags
of topsoil...no prob. Just keep eye out on alignment and
everything will be ok!

I just picked up a set of Beltech 2" drop coils and 2" drop shackles. I'm wondering if anyone else has the Belltech coils and how they ride compared to the stock ones. I got these cheap enough to overcome any shortcomings but I'm curious what to expect nonetheless. As I like to say, "Cheap is a quality overcoming many faults".
This setup is going on my 5.4L Ext cab. Already have 18x9.5 wheels and Khumo's and I think the 2" drop front/rear will be just the ticket for me. I still load the crap out of it occasionally and am not going for a "slammed" look but just a little sportier. Bilstein shocks are coming very soon so I should be in much better shape in the near future.
