Thanks, Derek... Did you put the [img][/img] before and after each item separately or both pics together?

You guys are funny. Try to put two pictures together in something simple like your 'Paint' program. Then load that onto the web, and into your sig. I couldn't get several pictures to ever work either. Whenever I feel like a computer geek, I just go talk to some of the real computer guys here, that makes me feel less like a dork.

Jonc~
hey, just curious if you've had any problems with the 315's rubbing with the 16x8 rims? im hopefully gonna be getting a set in the next couple of months, but am wondering if im gonna need to get a pair of coil spacers. i have the spindles and body lift, so im assuming yours is about half an inch higher than mine. will greatly appreciate any help.

Jason... the only problem I had was with the lower valance and that was an easy fix. I had already trimmed it a little bit when I put the 285's on, but the 315's really rubbed when I backed up and turned the wheel! So I just marked off some lines I wanted to trim to on either side, got out the handy-dandy trauma scissors and cut it away. A little light sanding on the edges and all is fine now! I would think they'll fit well with the lift you have also.

As an FYI... I installed a steering stabilizer yesterday afternoon and I really like the results! I would say it's a worthwhile addition for anyone running 35" tires... much better steering feel and I'm sure it has to help the suspension components. Something to think about considering it only costs about $59 and 30 minutes under the truck!

So how exactly did the steering stablizer mount in there? Think its worthwhile on 33's?

The stabilizer kit comes with a bracket that mounts over the right-side frame rail and extends a couple inches below the bottom. The "cylinder" end of the shock / stabilizer mouns through a hole in that bracket utilizing some rubber bushings and lock nuts. There is also another bracket which mounts to the tie rod using small u-bolts and lock nuts. The "piston" end of the shock mounts through a hole in that bracket using the same hardware as the other end. It's really a simple process... The kit also came with a boot (choice of color!).

I would say it would be worth it with 33's... can't see how it could hurt! A lot would depend on how and where you drive your truck, I guess.

Question

What do you mean by modified upper and lower control arms?

Well guys, the lift is sitting in the garage at home, and from previous experience with a Superlift, this kit appears to be just as tough as the superlift. These guys in Cali are putting out right good looking kits. I know people were talking about a driveshaft modification. Well specifically, you need a new front one (longer). Whiplash will even sell you one of them. Anyway, the lift is going in starting Friday and I hope to finish by Saturday night. I plan to digitize the entire even and eventually post them on a web site. My truck is going to look funny for a week though with the measley 36"s. Oh well, Im getting my 40X17X15 Ground Hawgs the next friday. Pics soon to come.
