Post **HELP! LOP-SIDED TRUCK!!!! **

Hey guys-

since adding my spindles, I've noticed the driver's side of my truck feels lower than the passenger side, and it is visible too. Looking at it from the front or back, the truck is lop-sided. I thought it may be the padding worn out in my seat making me think that, or that the tire pressures were uneven, or even the pavement...NOPE

no matter where I am parked or driving, the Driver's side fenders both measure at 38 inches and the passenger fenders measure 39 inches! (from the center of the wheel, ground to the fender) which makes the passenger side of the truck 1" higher!

Has anyone had this problem or have a reason or solution? Thanks!

Derek

If your truck is 4x4, you might want to check the torsion bars. If not, then you need to make sure that the spindles were installed properly and they are exactly the same size.

I called ORU this morning, and they said it might be a "sagging coil" What does that mean???

I believe Ford has a TSB on this problem. All the do is measure to see if your frame is level, and if the frame is ok they swap the springs left to right. If that doesnt fix it you get new springs.
