Post Air ride?

I use my F 150 for construction. I have Weatherguard saddle and side boxes, when they are full of tools or I'm hauling materials to jobsites I sit a bit in the rear. I was wondering if any one here had installed Firestones air lift to help when loaded and what are your opinions of of this setup?

I believe it is made more for leveling or off center loads. I know that trucks with snow plows use it to lift front coils to offset weight of plow.

You may be able to raise your truck with sport rite. Give it a look see, if this is something you might be interested in. Still would like to hear from any that have used this or using it now.

I used them on my 93' with a camper and yes, they level out the truck and firm up a laden ride real nice.

If you carry any load to the point where the rear of the truck starts dropping, putting air in the bags to bring it level prevents that floating front end feeling. Basically, with airbags, you can carry any load and the truck will drive and handle as if there isn't one, except it'll be smoother. If my 7700 F-150 has any negative traits with the camper, I'm pulling some spring leafs and getting airbags, there that good!

That is what I wanted to hear. I had to replace right side rear leafs from heavy loads. I don't haul big loads very often but it would be nice to offset then when needed. Thanks

In fact, they work so good with a load, that you'll want to leave it in the truck!
