Talking Setup Suggestions

Okay, I've finally saved up enough money for the lift and tires. Here's what I'm planning for my '99 2wd SuperCab

Lift:
Camburg Engineering 3" A-Arm Lift

Tires:
BFG Mud-Terrains (285/75/r16)
OR
BFG All-Terrains (295/75/r16)
I want the MT's, but I also want the larger size. Leaning towards the AT's since the MT's may be too noisy on the highway.

Wheels:
AE-589's 16x8
OR
American Racing Baja's 16x8
I've seen this style rim where it looks really shallow and sometimes it looks deeper. I want the deeper look. Is this something that varies with manufacturer or stricly rim size?

I plan on lifting the front only and seeing how much of a rake there is. If it doesn't look good, I'll do an add a leaf or blocks in the rear. If I decide to go with the 295 AT's and think that's too much tire, I may also add a body lift to compensate.

Any thoughts/suggestions/criticisms/etc. on this setup?

I've been saving since I bought my truck, so I'm really excited to finally lift it. Thanks for the advice!

I don't know too much about the Camburg kit, I guess you are going with this b/c it is cheaper than the Fabtech kit. I know a few people with the Fabtech A-Arm kit and like it.

Good choice of tires(AT). I think the 295s will fit if you go with them.

I have the AR Bajas 16x8, nice wheels but they show the water marks.

Go ahead and buy the leafs or blocks, you will install them b/c it will look stupid otherwise. I did my spindle lift one weekend and my leafs the next weekend. I felt like an idiot the week in between. A week or two after that, I also added the blocks.

Good luck!
