Post Lift differences

What is the difference between the Trailmaster, Rancho, Pro Comp, and Superlift systems for the 98+ 4x4 f150's . What is the justification for the difference in cost?

Andrew, the best thing to do, is to read all the great feedback on this site on these lifts. If you go through all the suspension threads, you'll find more than enough information on those lift kits. I already have researched all of them because I was (still am cause I'm still saving for the supension lift) so another thing you can do is go to each company's website: www.superlift.com www.explorerprocomp.com www.gorancho.com and for Trailmaster, I knew it once, but I forgot it, but all these sites should list everything that they have for the '97-newer F-150s.

When you go to these web sites, try to understand how they lift their 4x4's. Some go w/taller spindles and kuckles (i.e. Superlift). (Superlift is probably what comes to mind when the topic is 4x4 lifts, but not always.) Some include brackets that increase the space between the crossmembers [for the front axle] and frame. [In my opinion] I lean towards the Rancho suspension lift. Some may not agree, but I emailed Off-Road Unlimited requesting info for a solid axle swap just to make things easier. Solid axles are tougher and less complicated to lift. With that in mind, he reccomended the Rancho lift vs. the solid axle swap. I explained to him, money was no object, just the quality workmanship, still he insisted on the Rancho lift. Warn is known for suspension flex, Rancho is known for race performance, Superlift and Pro-Comp are known for quality [as do the others]. Just an opinion.
