Just an FYI. During the course in installing a wood fence around my back yard, I needed to concrete the posts in the ground and the 3/5 western chassis drop handled 1800 lbs in the bed without the fenderwells cutting into the tire sidewall.

I will probably eventually add air helper springs when I am able to get that boat, but I rarely have to load that much in the bed.
