Hey smif, welcome to f150online!! I was in chat last night, can't remember if I used my actual screen name or "Ninety-Eight", though.
Like I mentioned last night, the Ranchos 5000's or 9000's are an excellent choice, as are the Edelbrock IAS shocks. I have heard countless people rave on both brands. I have also heard others talk about Monroe Sensa-Trac's also. I believe the Rancho 9000's have a dialable ride stiffness, and that would come in handy if you're not sure what kind of ride you want. I had Monroe Reflex shocks until today, and they were great for a while. They seem to be going South less than a year later, though. Good luck on whatever you decide.,,,,98
