AIM Lift Spindles
I've seen the AIM ads in truckin magazines etc. for some time now offering lowering components, and recently I saw they now have a 3" lift spindle for the F150 for $259, and also a 3" lift w/ upper control arm and coil for another $259. These prices are sure great, but has anyone had any experiences with the company as far as quality and workmanship etc. are concerned?
Thanks,
Chris

A few weeks ago I tried to buy the AIM spindles, but the salesman mumbled something about no warranty of any kind, when I pressed the issue he finally blurted out that they did not have the spindles. If you read more than one magazine, you will notice that some say "F150 spindles 249.95" while some other magazines from the same month say "available soon" The bottom line is that they advertized a product which they did not have, and I ended buying Bullseye spindles from 4Wheel Parts in Austin for 567.00, and I am very happy with them.
On the other hand, I am very glad that I went with spindles and 2" blocks in the rear, I ended up with just a little over 3" of lift in the front and with a very slight rake towards the rear (just a hair taller in the front) it looks awsome.
Sorry about the lenghty post.

Yeah, find out about those things, or just tell us the magazine, cause 260 is a deal I couldn't pass up. Especially since everyone is onlylimited because of cash when lifting their trucks.

Hey, Roberto, how is the truck still taller in the front if you put the blocks on the back? I put on the Bullseye spindles, and did not touch the back, and it is barely even level, if not still lower in the front.

If you remember, when the trucks first came out, there was a problem with the leaf springs, causing some trucks to lean to one side. Mine was leaning to the left, and the dealer replaced both spring packs under warranty. After that, my truck was almost level to start with. Now with the 2" blocks in the rear and the spindles in the front, it is just a hair taller in the front, just enough to be noticeable, but it makes it look very good.
I am going to scan a picture or two, but I have to find out to post them, so, it might take me a while

That is the look that I want also, about 1" higher in the front. I thought that was what the spindles would do, but I have noticed that some trucks look like the back is higher than on others. Pretty interesting. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing the pics of your truck.
