where did you buy your coil spacers and do they come bigger than 1 inch. I am low on money being in school and all so low price lifts are helpful. my truck is a reg. cab so i know i cant do the fabtech leveling kit. Is there another leveling kit for a reg cab somewhere out there. I lovve my truck but hate how low it looks so please help me.

I was also thinking of lifting my 2wd but after i got a set of 265/75/16 AT tires im going to forgo lifting as i am in school also, and will just wait till i can afford a 4x4. It looks really good with the large tires and it sits higher than most Chevy 4x4s. If i ever take some pics ill send them so you can see

 

The Coil Spacers Came from A local Autoparts store like Napa, or Autozone, Pepboys, ETC. I can't remember which one though. They cost $ 7.00 each. Yup $7.00 . They look like a big black plastic doughnut with a ring in the middle. They're made buy a Company that labels they're stuff with a " Help" label. They make a bunch of stuff. I rented a spring compressor from Autozone and compressed the spring and set the spacers in-between the Lower A-arm and the spring. They spacers ring around it, is for the Spring to fit in.

As far as more than 1". Well Personally I don't really like My setup with the spacers. It just seems " Rigged " you know like Half ***. But when you have $1200.00 worth or 35's sitting there you do what you gotta do. The ride is much stiffer because of the spacers. I'd hate to see how much stiffer it would be with two on each side. Just my Humble Opinion.

BTW.... I do plan on "Finishing" my suspension with fabtech's kit.
