inconsistency in RS9000x shocks?
I got my 9000x's today and went to put them on, but the 2 rear shocks are different. One has "RS99234" stamped on it, and the other has just "9234" stamped on it.
One has a wider bushing (the full with of the mount) where it bolts to the axle, and the other has a narrower bushing, but with a full width metal insert in the bushing. And finally, one has a nut welded to the base of the threads on the shaft, and the other just has a round piece of metal. Lastly, the bushings on one look more like polyurathane, and the others look like red rubber.
I don't know if I got a wrong shock, or if this is normal?

The answer is yes and the answer is no.
The RS99234 replaced the old 9234. All they did is add another 9 in the fifth position. The 9234 should be a 5 position adjustable RS9000, and the RS99234 the 9 position adjustable RS9000x.
They both fit your application, but if you paid for the RS9000x then you should return the 9234 and get what you paid for.
I believe the 9234 is no longer made, but still exists in inventory.
