Question New Shocks?

I have a 1996 F-150 2WD w/ a 302. When I hit small quick bumps I hear a loose knocking sound in the left front. Is this bad shocks or something more complicated. I would like your opinions before I invest in the shocks. At 56k miles is it time for shocks anyway? Please let me know. Thanks-Martin Kellner

I agree..take a good look underneath for sure. New shocks can't hurt!
