Post 80-96 lifts

I wanted to ask all of those who have suspension lifts on their 80-96 F150s and Broncos a couple things. I want to put one on in the near future. I was wondering how the front driveshaft cleared the cross member for the transmission? It looks on mine like it will hit.
The other question is how do the driveshafts take the added length on 4 and 6 inch kits? I don't really want to have to get custom driveshafts, but I also don't want the back one to slip out.
The truck will see a good amount of off road. Thanks for help.
