1. DOES THE OFFROAD PKG HAVE ANY SUSPENSION TWEEKS??
2. I NOTICED THAT MY FRONT END DOES SAG ALITTLE- I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS A SUSPENSION LIFE THAT I CAN GET THAT WILL RAISE MY WHOLE TRUCK ABOUT 2 INCHES--ENOUGH TO FIT 33 INCH TIRES??
3. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST TIRE I CAN FIT ON A STOCK 4X4 OFFROAD??
4. I HAVE HAVING PROBLEMS TRYING TO FIND BIGGER TIRES WITH THE STOCK 17INCH RIMS-- I HAVE FOUND TWO TYPES- SUPER SWAMPER SSR 32/11.5/17 AND THE BF GOODWRINCH A/T- ARE THERE ANY MORE??? I AM LOOKING FOR A MUD TIRE???
5. OK LAST ONE-- I NOTICED THAT WHEN MY TRUCK SWIFTS INTO 2ND GEAR IN STAYS AT 3000 RPM FOR LIKE 3-5 SECONDS. IT KINDA LAGS- IS THIS NORMAL FOR FORDS WITH THE 4.6-- IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR QUICKER GEAR SWIFTS???

Hey Sborder, The front end sag can be fixed by cranking the torsion bars.

You can fit 33's on a stock 4x4. I've seen 33x12.5's on 16.5x9.75 rims here on this site and I've seen 33x11.5's on stock rims in person.

Have you looked @ Mickey Thomspon or Pro Comp Tires yet? I think they both have tires in 17 rim sizes

Here are some pics of Nino's Rig
Hope you don't ming NINO

1. I'm not sure what you mean
2. torsion bars
3. You're right, there's not much
selection in 17's. A lot of guys are
running 285/75/16's on stock height 4x4
ORP. There are a few with 305/70/16's
also. You will have to buy new rims,
though, and then you are talking $$$.
I hope to put 285's on mine soon, though.
4. With 16's you will have lots of choices
of mud tires. BFG, Mickey T,
SuperSwamper....
5. SUPERCHIP!!!!!! See the computer
chips forum and look specifically for
posts by Superchips_Distributor. His
name is Mike. I wish I had one.

Welcome to the site, and congrats on your purchase of the best truck on the road!!!

I second the previous posts comments about the Superchip. It will improve the slip and slide shifting. The stock auto shifting on these trucks is a joke! Are you listening, Ford??

If you don't want to run premium fuel, Superchip will program you chip for regular and improved shifting.
