Post Anti-Sway Bar?

Are the anti-sway bars really worth the money or are they just a marginal improvement over the stock ride? And can they be installed on a 3in body lift?

ilmagill,
you can run but you can't hide ! I just posted to you in the came from the FabTech, spindles lift msg boards. The sway bar is WELL worth the money, it reduces body roll very well, just ask DirtSlinger, I gave him a ride (for $.25) he was so impressed w/ the ride and the mods I did, he gave me $.50, saying it was well worth every penny. (just kidding) Like I said in the other post, let me know when your in town so we can hook up.

Question

franks&beans, do you have any pictures of your truck? I have a 99 F150 V6 SC and would like to see what other people have done to their trucks. Also, how does your exhaust sound?

Josh

ilmagill,
I know this is not the right forum, but I have a question for you. I am considering going to the 285/75/16's on my truck, but I don't want to have to upgrade from my 3.55 gears. I have a 4.6 4x4 ORP, Extended cab. Have you noticed any loss of power or acceleration after your mods?

Many more modifications to come

There was a loss in power and acceleration but i have a v-6 so i don't know how much it will affect the 4.6 because it has a bunch more low end torque.

Cool

Joshman,

My exhaust sounds "stock" w/ the Dynomax muffler. I want true duals soon. I need/want a more aggressive sound.
