Question Lowering kit questions

I have a 1999 F-150 4x2 extended cab 5.4v8. I just want to lower the truck 1 or 2 inch in the front and 2 or 4 in the back. My questions is what do I need to buy. There are lowering springs that run for $160 and there are kits that run for $360. Which one do I need to buy. Since I have some money ,my choses are to either lower the truck or buy a supercomputer for it. Which is a better option?

I to have a 99 F-150 4x2 supercab but with a 4.6. I lowered my truck 3" in front and 4" out back. Not only does it now handle better but doesn't sit nose bleed high in the air.
My lowering kit is made by Belltech right out of your home state. If it was my money I would lower the truck first, then worry about
power adders later. Belltech also makes other lowering kits. My parts were purchased from Summit Racing Equipment out of Ohio(mail order). The people at summit are really helpful and can answer all your questions. Good luck let me know how it turns out.

If interested, you can also order Belltech parts right here on the online store. See the f150online home page.
