Question Rear End Clunk - Revisited

Hi all. I just finished reading the Rear End Clunk topic posted by BB and I thought I'd bring the subject up again.

With my 98 F150 XLT SC 4x4, I have the EXACT same problem: clunk in the rear somewhere under the box, only when going up a driveway with a bump at an angle, etc. Has anyone found any definitive answer to why this is happening?

BB, I see you live in the same city as me. Are you looking to take your truck in any time soon to have this looked at? And to whom?

Hi Edf

I have not taken my truck in to a dealer yet, but am planning on doing it yet, as it is just about time for my 10K oil change. I will let you know my results.

I have a 1998 F150 Lariet Style Side, I have the same exact problem when entering a drive way on a angle. Keep me posted.
