Question Using stock springs for lift...

I want to lift my '99 F150 4.2. I do not want the spindle lift (have to lift rear to match) and the fab-tech kit will not fit the regular cab, so I was wondering if I could use a set of 4.2 super-cab or V-8 regular cab springs to lift my front 1"-2"? Any possibilities here? Thanks....Doc

I don't have a "Truckin'" magazine around. But I remember one of the companies that advertise coil spring spacers that sit between the top of the coil spring and the top spring perch. These are supposed to be for mild lifts. I wish I had more detailed info.. Maybe you can pick up a current issue and check it out.
