? about 2" rear drop...

I know this topic has probably been run into the ground, but I've been reading old posts for almost an hour, and still can't seem to find what I need. So, any help is greatly appreciated...

I have an '03 Reg. Cab Flareside, 4x2 and just want to drop the back about 2". I don't want anything drastic, and don't want to drop the front, just level it out a little, and take up some of the fender gap...

From what I've read I'll need 2" lowering shackles and most likely 2 deg shims. Is that correct, and where can I get this? Everywhere I look I can only get kits for front and rear or lower drops that swap out the hangers...

thanks...
james...

The ones I saw on Summit said it was only a 1" drop. Is that the set you got? If so, how much did it drop your truck, and what kind of truck do you have?

thanks...

Summit has Bell Tech, also, as does Stylin' Concepts. There's also DJM available at Stylin' or Western Chassis available at http://www.sporttruckdirect.com or http://www.macsspring.com .
Another option is http://www.johnnylightningperf.com/n...p?intProdID=82

You shouldn't need shims with any of these. Good Luck!

I never did any shims just for the record, no problems here.

Hey, Thanks for the the help guys. Looks like I've found what I wanted on macsspring.com, Western Chassis 2" drop PN 2003. $32.22, but they get you on the shipping... $15.00...

Oh, well, guess I'll be doing that... I think I'll look into the shim kit too though.

02XLT are the 2" shackles all you have on your truck. Looks nice. I like the wheels. Those were my first choice, but I got these wheels pretty much for free, so I can't complain...

Yea that's all that's done to my truck, I will be buying Factory Techs valve body once it's done for my tranny. I like your wheels also but I to got a deal that pretty much made these free for me. I also have thought about welding up a Delta Flow 50 series to replace stock muffler. I don't really want the truck to be loud, so who knows.
