FX4 suspension

How has the FX4 cv axle suspension been holding up when off-roading when compared with the older solid axle suspension?

As far as I know the Fx4 system is the OEM 97+ IFS with white Rancho RSX shocks. If you want to know how this system stands up to Off road use comapired to A solid axle then I would say that the CVs can not handle anything larger than a 35 inch tire. At high speeds the ride is smoother and better controlled. Articulation is not as good as a solid axle but it can be close stock to stock if you disconnect the sway bar.

Thanks, I was looking towards the future as far as how I could go with a lift and tires with those CV axles.
