Popping noise in rear at slow speeds

I hear a loud popping noise when making a sharp turn at slow speeds, like turning into my driveway. Noise is coming from rear, sounds like passenger side. Usually happens when hitting a bump at slow speeds while turning.
Any ideas?
thanks

i think my truck does the same thing. it's like when i'm turning sharp and going up a steep little hill (such as a driveway or parking lot) it makes 1 pop in the rear on the passenger side. i don't know what it is, just thought i'd share that i think i have the same thing.

Does your truck have a locking differential? I used to own a Chevy with a locker, and got a popping noise from the rear at low speeds. The service guys said it was the lock-up clutches in the rear end. The solution was to change the differential oil routinely, and use a formula special for lock-up clutches.

I am having the exact same problem you guys are describing. I had a dealership look at mine and they couldn't find anything wrong. What drives me crazy about it the most is that I SWEAR it does it more when it is raining or wet outside.
