did the same thing to mine a month ago.. do yourself a favor and do what i did.. buy some goodyear wranglet mt/r's in a 305/70r17 and see what a difference.. looks very baddass and everyone will think you have a lift kit... ill post pics of mine as soon as i get a chance.. those tires will not rub at all if you crank the front square to the rear..

Yea, you could crank the torsion bars to get some extra lift. The ride may stiffen a little. Just try it out and see how it is. If you dont like the ride just record how many turns you tightened the screws and then set it back.

On my 2000 I cranked the bars about a week after I bought it, 3 years now no problems, no tire rub but I am only running 285/70/17s. As for the 95 you could call up national spring they can make a custom coil spring for you. Hope this helps.

Stangbanger.

You can get springs and or some washers.
I don't know who sells the washers anymore though, call an offroad shop. What you would do is remove the nut holding the spring. Lower the arm, and remove the spring. Place several washers over the bolt that the spring goes on(I've seen 4 at one time welded together) Then install the spring again, and you have at least 1 1/2 inches of lift.

The best way is to get leveling coils and then an alignment.

I'm assuming when you say washers you're talking about coil spacers. Anyhow coil spacers are probably the cheapest and easiest fix for this, but the best one is a set of leveling coils. Anyhow just do a search for coil spacers, alot of companies make em.

Crank up the torsion bars. 4x4's do not have coil springs.

Powerstroke,

Those will work too. There was a company in Garden Grove, California. It was called **** Cepek. They sold me the washers that go under the spring mount on the IFS 4X4's.
Again, it was a long time ago.

The spacers you talk about are rubber. I think Pep Boys sells them. If not them, then JC Whitney.

Am I going to have to replace the front shocks at the same time (with the spacers or the springs) or can I use the stock shocks until I decide to replace them?

i have a fix

OK I HAVE A HELL OF A SOLUTION. if you crank up the torsion bars its and easy quick fix but you are going to have a rougher ride. one of the things your truck already has. what woudl work for you much better and will make your truck as smooth as a car is take off the smallest leaf spring from your rear axle. that leaf is only there for carrying heavy loads but it s tightens your suspension. hence the name load leaf. so taking it out will drop your back end approx 2 inches. your truck will drive much smoother than you ever imagined. and it will be level. heres the thing though. you didnt buy that big of a truck to not put anything in the back and your payload will substatially decrease. so if you purchase air helper load springs such as ride rite. you can still take advantage of leveling your truck out and be able to carry even a heavier load than you ever could. your ride hieght could be easily adjusted. this is what i did to my truck and i was amazed at how the all around performance was increased. i hate the way fords stink bug and mine just doesnt do that any more. good luck
