Full Length Roof Rack for Screw???
Does anyone know or have seen a roof rack for a Screw? I've done a limited search, but haven't came up with anything.
I'm thinking they would really look good with one simlar to those on the Nissian XTERRA???
Also, anyone had a chance to see the new 6.0L Diesels? Was out today checking to see if I could get a '02 Screw with the 0% for 60mth deal...wasn't much to choose from, so I'll keep my '01 and wait to see...
Really enjoy the "club"!
Thanks all...

Someone has the same idea I was thinking of...
I used to own a 97 Mountaineer with a roof rack. I was thinking of going to the bone yard and trying to find an Expy of maybe a Windstar or Navigator (I like the wind and Nav's style better) and seeing if I can cut it down to size and retro it to my truck.
With the roof rack and a class III hitch I could attach a load extender vertically and run and oversized object over the bed (ARE LSII) to the roof for transport. Would work great for lumber, ladders, or whatever would stick too far out of the bed. I hate to travel very far with the tailgate down (rocks and other debris scratch the tailgate)
Any ideas?

The was also another member named "cheleri" who put Yakima roof racks on the cab. A link to his pictures is:
http://www.cheldelin.com/TheTruck/Index.htm
according to his info, the Yakima racks cost:
2 pair #8000105 Q Towers - MSRP $120.00 ea
2 pair #8000714 Q114 Clips - MSRP $48.00 ea
1 pair #8000409 58" CrossBar - MSRP $42.00 ea
not a bad idea if you want to carry a canoe or bikes or something up there.

I've searched in the past for something similiar and could never find anything. I love the looks of the racks on the Nissan Xterra and Supercab pickups. The traditional racks sold on the Yakima website don't look near as sleek as the ones on the Nissan. I was hoping at some point someone would come out with something similiar looking for other vehicles, but I've yet to see it.
