Thanks for the link to allfordstuff.

...say, the locking gas cap item says it is for the 1997 - 2000 model years. I doubt the fuel spout was changed in 2001-2003 models.

Anyone know for sure?

Big thanks to hapynzap...

As far as the fit is concerned, I'm 99.9% sure that it hasn't changed for the 01-03... I'd call the stealership and ask first...

pw1981, sure, you can use the word... I think I picked it up from someone else on one of the boards... hahahaha, I thought it was a funny one too... funny but, literally true...

Yeah.... Showya has the 'inside track' to getting his paws on these puppies! LOL!

I'm going to hold off for now as this item made it's way to my Christmas list and thus, I'm going to wait and see if it ends up in my stocking... hehehe

If Santa deems me a bad little boy, I might give you a yell Showya and see about picking one of those pooches up... gracias.

I ordered from allfordstuff today for $33 total (free shipping exp 12/15)

I called them @ Customer Service Center at (800) 479-5955 to make sure I wasn't charged the shipping.

I figure this is better than getting a generic locking gas cap because it has the tether so I dont forget and lose it at the pump.

They only charged me $8.00 to ship a headlight switch, light sensor and dash cover panel.

Where did you get that number from? Just curious because it seems high.

The 28 was the part, the 7 was the shipping = 35

Went to allfordstuff and the price was like 42 for the cap??? Did they go up or was there a sale for 33 and Free shipping??

From the parts site:
For orders that are within the continental United States shipping will be a minimum of $7.00 and not more than 10% of the total cost of the parts ordered. Due to the weight and/or size of certain parts, shipping may be more than stated above in which case we will notify you prior to processing the order. For orders that are outside the continental United States the shipping cost will be quoted prior to processing the order.
