Thanks for the added pics.It looks like the bed extender won't be able to open with that shell config., unfortunately. I need to be able to stuff my surfboards in there so the bed extender is a must, unless I bungee the rear lid down and have the board sticking out with the tailgate up.

I need a shell instead of a tonneau because we're getting a dog and he needs to go in back. By the way, we just bought a used Coleman Sequoia pop-up! Maiden voyage is 11-12. Can't wait, been wanting one for a while.

I bought a cap that looks like the A.R.E. and it was about $1300.00 Canadian. It is a Raider, if you look them up on the web try http://www.raider.ca The site is slow loading but maybe there is a better site. If you could find a way to ship it, you could save quite a bit. The dealer I dealt with changed the window shocks to smaller ones so the bed extender works fine without removing it. Whichever one you go with, just a reminder, that the green wire, in the trailer tow package wireing harness, under your rear bumper is for the brake light in the cap. If you run it up the back post and bundle them in a small piece of garden hose, it looks very clean. I put removable connectors on mine so they just unplug if the cap has to come off. Sorry about the ramble, I hope some of it helps.
