Removing F-150 badges from fender & T-gate?

Just made my first payment on my '02 Screw(been wantin' one for 2 years)! Gettin' ready to start "personalizing" it - are the F-150 badges on the fender and tailgate the peel & stick type, or am I gonna leave holes if I take 'em off?

If you choose to remove the factory emblems, you will seek and find three 3 holes behind each emblem

But then again there is always paint and body....

You might want to look into acetoning your badges instead of completely removing them. Do a search on here for the instructions.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

There are three holes .
The badges are peel and stick.
They have little TlTS that go into the holes for centering and straightitightousness.

(Sorry, if I'm talking over your head. Since, 'TlTS' was the best I could come up with I figured I needed a big word to balance it out.)

That's what I was afraid of, the 3 holes (although the 3 **** would be a little strange - kind of a "total recall" thing)

Sorry Wags02, I guess you don't have enough posts yet to say such a word.

Lightbulb Acetoned link with pics

I found the link and one of the guys posted pics. Man it looks sweet.

Can you do this on a 2002 Supercrew? I noticed that it says not to on a 98. If so I'll do it tonight.
