Bug Deflectors

Hey Guys,

I want to get a bug deflector for my S'Crew. Does anyone have any thoughts as to which one(s) look/work the best.

Thanks in advance,

Jim

I like the Bugflector II by Autoventshade.
I have the clear one with the black carbon fiber pattern. Had one on my 97 Mountaineer too. Both trucks were white. I haven't seen anyone else with one yet.
In any case what color or style would look nice in the BgFlctII.

I've got a Stampede brand Bug Deflector on my truck. Came as a dealer installed option and I'm sure I got raped on the price. Seems to work pretty good. Now I could only keep my grill and front bumper bug free

As a side question, is there any risk to fading the paint on the hood from leaving the deflector on there all the time?

Guys,

Thanks for the replies. I had a Lund Interceptor when I had my Chevy. It was OK but I was looking for something different.

That's a slick question about the fading. I'm not sure of the answer, however I don't think it would pose a problem. Paint's and clearcoats have come a long way.

Just my .02 cents.

Bug Deflector

On my last three Fords, I have put the EGR BODY GUARD on as a bug deflector, and I will use nothing else....I had it deflect a rock that fell off a dump truck, the rock was about the size of a quater, round and missed the windshield, I thought for sure there would be damage to the shield, all there was..... a little indent about the size of the head of a pin, where the rock hit.

I have the Ford bugshield and it is painted to match my truck. I think it is made by Lund, but not sure. You can see it in my album.
