X Plan, A Plan, Etc
X Plan, A Plan, Etc
Someone had found a website or something that explained all of Ford's 'plans' in-depth. I've tried searching for that post or even that thread but have been unsuccesful.
Can someone please point me towards a good explanation of the details?
Thanks in advance. I appreciate it!

www.axz.ford.com that is the website. I buy my vehicles on the A plan. A quick breakdown of the system is A Plan= $500 over cost X Plan= $1500 over cost Z Plan is $2500 over cost. A Plan is immediate family, X Plan is extended family and friends, Z plan is everybody else I guess, I know the A and X are correct just never dealt with the Z plan before. I just bought a 2003 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4x4 FX4 loaded that stickered for $35,900, I got it for $28,500. Thats basically how it works. Hope that helps.
I got my code from work and got them PIN after registering on the Ford Partner website. It's a major hassle dealing with dealerships with X-Plan pricing from what I found out. I couldn't get any of them to give me X-Plan pricing plus the incentives and/or rebates they were offering. Big run around. They basically told me that I can get either/or but not both
I bought mine on the xplan with no problems....
They have a website that will allow you to search for the vehicles on a particular lot and it will give you the xplan price for each vehicle. I shopped and found the truck I wanted without leaving the house.

A-Plan and Z-Plan are the same price. A-plan is for employees....Z-Plan is for Retirees.
X-Plan is "Friends and Neighbors" / Business Partners / Agency Employees...and is a percent (varies from vehicle to vehicle) over A-Plan Price.
When using any of these plans you are eligible for ALL icentives that Ford is offering. If a dealer tells you different call Ford directly and report them. They can get hammered for this.
Hope this helps.

Friends & Neighbors X-Plan pricing is a special pre-determined price, which is based on the following formula:
Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and TH!NK Vehicles: Ford Employee (A-Plan) price plus 4% + $150 ($250 for Lincoln).
Volvo Vehicles: Ford Employee (A-Plan) price plus 2%*.
Land Rover Vehicles: Invoice plus 4% + $250 Regional Advertising fee ($300 New York Region).
Jaguar Vehicles: X-Plan not available on Jaguar vehicles.
Mazda vehicles: The S-Plan price is noted on the dealer's copy of the invoice (note: the S-Plan price is the same for "A/Z" or "X" customers).

"jor..." is correct as far as I have seen. Another suggestion: Skip past the guys in the white shoes and white belts, with the feathers in their hats, go around to the fleet sales office and ask for a saleman there. I did that on recc. from a relative at Ford. The fleet guy asked me for my pin id and what I wanted to order as he sat at a computer, 3 minutes later he had a price on the SCrew and we closed the deal. I don't think I was in the dealership 30 minutes. He called me 4 weeks later and said it arrived. I got all the current incentives, plus 0% financing and was out the door in less than an hour driving a new '02 SCrew.

he he he...
Usually when you say you are buying on the A plan the guys with the feathers in their hats wearing zoot suits lose almost all interest in you. They just go "OH okay well let me know which one you want and I'll get the price for you, I'll be over here..."
As far as the X-plan goes from what I understand if you work for a company that does a lot of business with ford or is a supplier to ford then you are eligible. My place of work gives employees a toll free number to call to get the pin number. After that supposedly you just give them that number at the dealership and there is no more ****ering.
One other thing...
On the A plan (not sure about x) yopu would only be eligible for MANUFACTURER rebates, any deals the dealership is offering is negated by A plan pricing. So it depends on whether or not teh dealership is offing cash back or rebates or if it is directly through ford.

It's the same for all plans. Only factory incentives are retained with the a,x,z plans. The dealer incentives are at their discretion, so they won't give them to you with any of the plans.
If any of you guys need an x-plan pin #, my wife has a couple left to give away. I would need your name, address, ss#. We can do it through email or over the phone. I gave away all 4 she had last year to members of this website. Nothing asked for in return, just trying to sell some more Ford vehicles.
Email me at mac3307@yahoo.com and I'll reply with the information you need. I need one X plan. thanks in advance
