And yes i bought it from Galpin! They gave me a good deal i think Only crappy aprt was sitting around for 5 hours tryin to get the price i wanted, that really sucks!
But ill be around here, checking things out and asking questions....hell my first one is how do i get rid of the backup alert thing that starts bleeping when i throw it in reverse? Is it a must that i goto the dealer?

What's with the backup alarm? Is that some kind of new requirement? Might be if it's a commercial vehicle. Is yours licensed for commercial or private use?
All you need to do is find where they installed the beeper and disconnect it. It's usually screwed into the frame somewhere. If your ears can stand it, turn the ignition key to the ON position, set the parking brakes, block the wheels and put the tranny in the reverse positon. Get under the truck and locate the beeper.
I drive by Galpin every weekday whenever I'm in California. My cousin's wife works at Harmon Kardon/JBL and to give him a break whenever I'm there I take her to work and pick her up. She doesn't drive. Two things make me drool on those drives. All the Fords at Galpin and the Budweiser brewery.
