Those of you who have ordered an '03... how long did it take from your scheduled build date to actual delivery time? My dealer in Raleigh is saying 2 weeks. I don't remember how long it took my '01 to show up.

My '03 is supposed to be built on Monday. I cleaned all the extra s**t out of my '01 last weekend ... amazing that it still rides as quietly as it did when it was new. Amazing trucks!

when i ordered my KR last fall...it took exactly 5 weeks from the day i ordered the truck till the day i took delivery...

 

I agree with you jcakers, my 2001 SCREW was a late 2001 model but still rides and feels almost brand new. It has held up really well both internally, externally, and mechanically. I drive high miles (over 20k a year) but the only thing I have had to do is rotate my tires, change my oil, check fluids (no problems there), wash it, and spend money on upgrades and modifications.

Love this truck, I want to see Ford keep up this quality and continue to improve upon it.

 

My 03 Screw order was received by Ford from my dealer on 07/03/02. The truck arrived in Denver on 08/27/02!! So about seven weeks total. I would imagine the orders are running a little quicker now since the 02's were being built up until approximately 07/07/02. Believe it or not people were still ordering 02's with the 03's only a few weeks behind! Why anyone would order a 02 that late is beyond me.

 

I did not order a Screw, but my 2003 Supercab was scheduled to be built the week of Sept. 3rd, (9/2 was a holiday) and it was sitting at the dealers lot on 9/10.

The VOPC originally said ETA to dealer was week of 9/23
