Is there any way to disable the interior lights for the Supercrew as well as the rear window lights that shine into the bed of the truck?

 

Ummmm.... take the bulbs out???

 

The manual recommended against that because the housings would become damaged.

 

I would just like to disable the lights when the doors are opened.

 

I'd like to keeps the lights from turning on when I open the doors also. The owners manual says you can adjust the light dimmer switch (located on the dash) up to turn them on and down to keep them off. But my switch does not have a down and off position. Does anyone have a switch with on, off, and dim positions?

 

If you want them off permanently, you can get into the doors and disconnect the connector from the bottom of the latch assembly. This requires getting into the door though, and a lot of disassembly. I accidentally did this when I replaced my door handles and latches with those from the Harley edition.
