Hello all. I just wanted to let you know. My wife was driving the screw today and she said it was makind a grating sound from the rearend so i checked it out tonight and the lining fell off the shoe on the emergency brake! unbelieveable. the truck just turned 49000 but i would think it should last longer than that.

 

Speaking of emergency brakes, has anyone noticed where the cable runs across to the pass rear wheel. Terrible location, it just down and off the axle enough to cause problems. I was driving down the road, and a stick was in the road, I must have hit it just right, and it jamed itself between the cable and drug down the road. What an awful noise. It actually pulled the cable through it's holder about 3 inches lower.
