Question Squeaky seats?

Just noticed this last week, when I lean back on my seat back it groans or squeaks...I can do it at will, just lean back then forward and back again and it does it. If I inflate the lumbar bag just a bit it will stop. My daughter noticed that the passenger side does it also. Anybody else ever encounter this?

Thanks

Cool I did...

Well, not sure if it was your exact problem, but I had a phantom squeak coming from my chair as well. After further investigation, I realized that as I moved back and forth in the seat the noise seemed to come from the seatbelt attachment on the pillar. I pried open the case, gave it a shot of WD40 (the bolt, not the belt itself), and I haven't encountered the squeak since. HTH.

My seat used moan and groan too . What I found was that when I quit going to Taco Bell it stopped . I'm not sure WD-40 would have helped .

DD,

Its definately in my seat back, I think it may be time to visit the dealer for only the second time in 26,000 miles.

CS,

I haven't had that groan since Jack in the Box packed up and left the area 20 years ago, but for one taste of those deep fried Tacos I'd let the seat groan again

Mine just started this summer - notice more when I move side to side, so I think mine is in the seat bottom. Hear it when traveling down the road and hit bumps in the road. Not sure how I am going to fix it, yet.
