Its a fair price but there are allot of rebates floating around out there. Run your pricing through the Edmunds website's fair value pricing and also price it out at Kelly Blue Book's website to see what the market holds. I just sold my 2001 XLT 4X4 Screw with 17,000 miles on it for $26.500.

It's not bad but I would probably pay a little more and have one that others haven't "test driven".

A demo is a used vehicle period, end of story! If you bought your vechicle put a few miles on it and wanted to trade it in, they would tell you it was used and knock off $3000- $4000. So they want to much for there demo. I would pass on it and get a new one. But thats me......

If that is a two wheel drive, I could have bought an 01 for 27,500 on the X-plan, which is about 300 below invoice. That particular truck was a Lariat, with all options, extender, running boards, sunroof, limited slip axle, captains chairs, etc. I think they are trying to pull your leg. Shop around, I think you will see. There are rebates on the new ones now, not sure about special financing on the Screws though.

Offer them 24,000 and insist on the preffered rates 3.9/2.9/1.9
Otherwise let the next "victim" have it. Look for deals on the 'net
you may have to look in Texas (lots to choose from).
