Question Extang Bed Covers

Anyone had a EXTANG Saber bed cover installed for the Super Crew 2002? This thing fits pretty bad. I thought a little more engineering would go into the product. The rear of the cover around the taligate doesn't touch. The cover is supposed to become "LOOSE" in warmer climates? Does this include flying off?

When I bought the trcuk about 2 months ago the Sales Guy (who no longer works there) said that ford had not come up with a factory cover yet. I ahd one on the F-150 Super Cab before which was so close to the bed rail tops it looked glued on. I don't know if the same manufacturer sells outside of FORD or who it might be. I was really happy with the old cover and wanted to get the same thing. EXTANG offered a "PEEL" type cover but nothing close to the install quality that I think I expected. Does anyone know who makes the cover from FORD that has come out for the 2002's? I really hate to throw good money after bad but no way am I letting the EXTANG thing stay on any longer unless there is an admittance of "We tought it would work" and some exchange of equipment. By the way EXTANG deosn't know dimensions or aything when you call. It took the installer to be on hold with me at their show room for 30 mins to find out that they would send a new cover but don't know what is wrong?

So now I turn to the group and ask?

I like my Black Max but the corner pieces on the tailgate rail could be tighter and it does not actually touch the tailgate but that is no big deal. I did not expect it to be water tight for $179.

If the rear tail piece touched the tailgate I do not think it would be very easy to close the tailgate would it? Think about it, if the rear rail was laying on the tailgate how would you close the tailgate with the rail in place? Think this is the reason it does not touch? I go to a high presure drive through car wash and only a very tiny bit of water gets under the cover. When I wash it my self no water gets in anywhere. When I go to a regular car wash, no water gets in. So I would say it is pretty much water tight, and I have the BlackMax.......
