I need the final do's and dont's of the foglight mod

I came to the conclusion that I want to do the foglight mod on my screw. Opinions on this are scattered all over this place. I would like for the people who have done this mod to lend a helping hand and give me the final do's and dont's all in one place. Thanks!

Do it! Use Gel Supeglue to put the front plate back on once the plastic welds have been cut. A little dab will do ya.

I did it, but that dang 5A fuse kept blowing and my fogs stopped working. Even had the ramp placed correctly to turn everything off when the switch was in the off position. Finally ended up undoing the wiresplice, and living without.

Maybe someday I'll try again...

Did you connect the #2 and #12 wires?
