Question Done went and broke it

Lastnight I flipped the bed extender back into the bed of the truck and when I hit the locking pin on the passengers side it broke. So my question is can these be replaced if so what is the part number. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure if this answers your question but if your extender came with your truck maybe the pin is covered under warranty. just a thought good luck

Yes, the pin is a seperate part. I have a schematic sitting in front of me and I believe the part # for the Pin is:

286B26

Definately confirm that with a parts counter but, I believe that's it.

I'd highly recommend

www.fordpartsnetwork.com for the replacement. They can get their hands on nearly EVERY Ford part out there and I've had NOTHING BUT GOOD LUCK with them. They're GREAT to deal with plus, cheaper than the parts counter at the dealership.

Good Luck

When my pin broke the dealer covered it under warranty. They replaced the whole extender.

They it and see what happens, it can't hurt.
