I seen on another site how nobody would be posting on 9/11/02 as a silent memorial for all the victims of 9/11/01. I was thinking this was a good idea for all websites including this one. Just one day where all questions and comments can wait. I for one will be at my firehouse that day for a memorial service, maybe if there is no posting that day everyone can just spend more time to reflect on the events that happened a year ago. What does everyone think- who's in and who's not?---Paul

I plan on carrying on with my daily routine. I can understand why many would since it's been less than a year ago.

Not me... I am off this 9/11. I was on shift last Sept 11th and watched very little of it on tv due to calls. I will remember my fellow 343 FF's on 9/11, but WILL NOT alter what I usually do.

There are some of our guys going to NY on Oct 13th for the FDNY memorial svc too.

 

I wasnt saying to ALTER what you do, just suggesting a way to remember our fallen brothers who are not here to do the things that we take for granted. Its not like i was saying stay home and lock yourself inside and wait for another attack. Keep living life normally - and never forget!
