Smile Best place to buy

Present owner of a n '01 Sport Trac and am looking to buy (probably) used SCrew for additional space. May be able to swing new price if incentives, rebates, and financing are favorable. Aside from the local dealer (and there are plenty of them here in Atlanta) where should I look for the best deal? MUST HAVEs are captain chairs up front, 5.4L engine, and under 40k miles if used. Would really like to get into a King Ranch or Harley, but may not be able to extend above the 30k price tag these trucks normally bring.

Any advice out there on where to start?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's just me but the way that f-150's hold their value and the fact that Screws have been out less than three years you might want to think about getting a new truck with less options say an 02 XLT with the rebates and low financing instead of a used truck. I bet you might be surprised with how cheap you can get the new truck.

That way you get the full warranty plus you get an 02 or 03 without all the gen I and Gen II bugs in it...

just think about it.

You should be able to get into a used KRanch for less than 30k. I always check ebay for 'King Ranch stuff' and they typically seem to have reserve set around 27-29k. I think you can do it.

Heck, for that case, if you can pull an a-plan or x-plan, you can probably get a new one out the door for less than 30k. I did.

Hey Marc, If you decide to buy new, check out Carl Black in Summerville. I bought my SCrew over the phone from them and had a very good experience.

Marc i tried to e-mail you a message ... did you get it?

According to Kelly Blue Book you should be able to get a 2003 F150 King Ranch 2wd new for:

Dealer invoice including dest 29,028.
5.4L 680.

Looks like you should be right at 30K as a starting point for a new King Ranch.

I will sell you mine for 30K with all the toys and only 11K miles
