After driving everyone in the office as well as my family crazy, I finally picked up my new 2002 Screw on Tuesday, May 28, 2002. Even my boss and my Dad said she was beautiful. After the sales experience I had, I am not the biggest fan of the dealers in my area. However, I have a wonderful credit union. Not only is she my first Ford, she is also my first new vehicle purchase ever.

I have been reading this forum for a few months now and I am glad I can finally join the group. And the other threads are correct. The factory speakers do stink something awful.

Congrats on the new truck. How about a pic or two?

 

When my roommate finds her digital camera I will grace you all with pictures of the truck (and the carsick dog). Also, the delay will allow me to add some of my mods so she doesn't look so naked compared to all of yours. My other roommate is salivating over getting parts and accessories this weekend.

While I am at it, I should post a big thank you to my roommates Amy and Raymond for providing all the help and support in buying my truck. Amy subbed for my father at the dealership and did a really good job helping me put up with them.

I put step bars on it first because I am short and everyone I know was making fun of me getting into it. Before I put the step bars on, the last suggestions were a step stool or a small trampoline.
