Just wondering if any one here has replaced the original tires on their Screw (2001 4 X 2) .
My truck has 37,000 miles on it now and although I rotate them
often , they are about gone. (General Grabbers 255-70-16).
I have kicked around the idea of buying a set of '00-'01 Lightning
take offs, as I think it would be nice for my Screw to have the same tire and wheel as my '01 Lightning, but I will pass on this
notion for now.
What I would like to know is, has anyone put a 265-75-16 on their truck in place of the stock 255-70-16?
I know they are 1.6 inches taller, and approximately .7 of an inch
wider. My Screw has been lowered 2" in the rear using the
Belltech shackles, but there is still plenty of room under there for the taller tire.
Anyone?
