Question Homelink

I was wondering if anyone knows if the 2002 F150 Lariats are now being shipped with the Homelink? I see the KingRanch and Harley versions have this feature. The dealership did not know if they come that way either(that figures). I did see a Lariat on a dealerships lot with the Homelink.
I have not seen this listed as standard or a option.

Thanks to all that can answer

Yes, the Homelink is a standard option on the f150 Supercrew Lariat. I have it on my 2002 Lariat and it was not an installed option.

Its not standard on Lariat, I looked at 2 02 lariats without sunroofs that doesnt have it. I think its standars with the sunroof since u dont have a console to put a reg garage door opener in.

I don't have a sunroof. I do have the console to put the garage door opener in. But I do have the Homelink, and again it was not an installed option.

no the homelink isn't standard on the Lariat. My mom bought a scab FX4 Lariat and she had to have the dealer order her Homelink seperately. she also has a sunroof and powerslider and pretty much every other option you can get including the fake wood trim. which looks real from a distance and not overdone.

oh and homelink allows you to open up three garage doors and has a voice recorder.

If you got to http://www.fordvehicles.com and go to dealerships you can browse trucks and look at their window stickers. If you look at the F150 Supercrew Lariats window sticker you can see on the Standard Equipment side that Homelink and Travelnote is listed.

hmmmm weird.....maybe it is because hers is a scab and not a screw or since she ordered hers in October so it was to early in the model year....I know you can get climate control on the screw Lariats and it isn't available on the scabs....can't figure that one out myself.

Climate control is also standard on the 2002 Supercrew Lariat. Maybe it is just a 2002 Supercrew Lariat "only" standard feature.

not sure, but I do know that it wasn't available in previous years because I know my '01 KR friends do not have climate control nor do my '02 scab KR friends have it while my '02 KR screw has it. so why does ford makes stuff some complicated huh? j/k!

Ford web site shows that it is optional on the Lariat Screw but standard on the King Ranch.

Nukescrew,
You da man! There it is right on the standard feature window sticker! Ford's website does "not" show this as standard or as a option for the Lariat. It only shows it for the KingRanch standard. So it must be they added it later in production. Cool!
Thanks Nukescrew.......

I bought a 02 supercrew lariat in feb. that was made in jan 02. It didnt have homelink.

I just bought another 02 supercrew lariat this month, and it was built in feb 02, and it has it.

the first one had the old style front grab handles and the one built in feb has the new square style. Must be some running changes this year.

I also noticed that the ones we are getting in that were built march 02 and later have "flatter" versions of the genIII seats.
