I finally took the time to email retrax about the beat up shell and a weather seal problem I've had... Got an email back saying:

"We'll send you the new parts for free. What year/make/model do you have and where to do you want them sent?"

Is that customer service or what! 3 days later, guess what is on my door step... new canister shield, srews and piece of weather stripping.

I'll buy another Retrax in a heart beat with that kind of customer service!

Now I just have to find the time to swap em out.. probably only take 15 minutes

I second that. During my install, Tim was extremely helpful and patient with me. The install was not really that difficult although the pictures included with the instructions were of poor quality. I had more questions about the "gate gasket" than I did about the rolltop!

All in all, the product is fantastic. Easy to install. Easy open and easy close with a fairly good latching system. I can finally leave my cooler (and anything else) in the back without worring about someone snatching it. I'm also interested to see if my gas mileage goes up.
