My windshield cracked today. The crack started above my head and is curving down towards the mirror. The crack starts under the trim.
Has anyone ever seen this before and do you think it will be covered under warranty?

 

My Dad bought a new Chrysler a few years ago. The same thing happened to him. The window started to crack from under the trim. He took it back to the dealer, they had a glass repair man take the windshield out. He discovered a sharp edge on the metal underneath the trim.

Warranty covered it all.
