I want to get the 10 Spoke 17" wheels on the Screw. Can I order a standard truck without the "Sport" package and get the 10 spokes? Would Ford do this as a special?

I don't like the painted stuff and especially the STICKER. Maybe I can get them to just leave the stickers off of it.

Anyone have experience with this?

I posted the same question earlier this week. I ordered one with the 10 spokes also. The dealer said that he would remove the sport sticker and replace it with a standard 4x4 one if it comes in with sport on it. BLAH!!! At the time I ordered it sport package was never mentioned. I was only being charged for the AT tires. I actually brought the sport package to the dealers attention. It wasn't his fault, the computer never added the code for Sport package when he added 10 spokes and the AT tires. It should be delivered in a week or so. I will let you know what I get when I get it.

 

try to build the truck at http://fordvehicles.com and see if you can do the wheels. on the sticker issue, you can remove them from what i understand, then order the 4X4 and apply it yourself.

 

Does anyone know what this "sport" 4x4 decal looks like? Thanks

I just wanted you to know that my truck came in yesterday, I pick it up on March 28th, And I went to check-it-out. I ordered the XLT 4x4 with the 17" 10 spokes. NO SPORT sticker. PHEW!!! Just wanted to let you know.

 

10 spokes are standard with the 17" tire pkg. Sport pkg requires two tone paint and the 5 spoke wheels. traded my 01 for an 02 and found this out while building the new one.

 

Thanks for your reply's. When you build a vehicle on Ford's website, you can't even configure the Screw with the 10 Spokes wheels... It kicks you down to a SuperCab. When/If I order the truck, I just want the basic XLT package 4x4 with the 10 Spokes and AT tires. From the sound of it, it appears that the dealer can order it this way.
