Amp mount help!

For those of you that chose to mount their amps in one of the two compartment behind the rear seats how did you mount them. Did you drill in the wall or fabricate a support system. I would like to avoid drilling the wall if at all possible, but if it is not going to be secure I will. Any descriptions and or instructions would be appreciated.

I mounted a RockFoz 300a and a Kicker Impulse 55W behind the driver-side access panel. Also an EFX distribution box. I mounted all on an aluminum plate (It was a slotted shelf, intended for use as a rack shelf for radio comm equipment). I placed them on the plate so, when mounted "on the wall", they would be standing up along that lip that is behind the storage pocket. I used two short screws, large diameter fender washers and nuts on the upper corners to attach the plate to the "carpeted" cover behind the rear panel. This, I think, spreads any stress over a large area so the screws dont get pulled or ripped out of that carpeted cover -- It is pretty flimsy. Since the weight of the amps is supported by the floor, the screw/washer fasterners only ensure the plate isn't going to slide around at all -- and it hasn't in over a year of use. I've not had any problem with overheating either. With the size of amps I'm using, there's still about an inch or so of clearance between the amp and rear panel. Sorry, no pix.
