Limited slip problem????

In a previous post I mentioned that I brought the tire pressure from 42 all around to the recomended 35 in the back and 34 in the front (the front is recomended at 30 but I wanted a bit higher) Also I had a flat that was repaired and then the tires rotated.

Anyways, I noticed that after I changed the air pressure, I seem to have LESS traction as I can spin my tires going around a corner real easy as before I really had to step on it to spin them. Well now it is concerning me as drving around making right turns my rear right tire (also the one that had the tire repaired) seems to "drag" like the rear locks up or brakes lock up and it squels around the corner, even when applying little or no gas.

It seems to be getting worse and I can't tell what it is. Checked the tire pressure and it seems normal (what I filled it too) but will check it again as the patch may not be good and it has a real slow leak.

Anyone else experianced this before?

HELP!!!!! I'm worried about my baby! Oh by the way it just hit 10,000

If it's squeeling the tires that bad, it sure sounds like your LS rear is going bad. Either that or you're in 4WD and don't know it...

If I was in 4 Wheel drive, my front tires would be engaged and I am sure thats not true.

I'm going to Vegas this weekend, hope that the LS isn't going, that would suck!

If it's still under warranty, screw it!

Don't have an answer to your question, but...when making a turn, my SCrew has always felt like it was being pushed or something. I'm assuming that is the limited slip doing its thing. Like you said, I have to hit the gas pretty hard in a tight turn to get good tire spin and then it feels like the truck is hopping. Under normal acceleration around a turn I don't get any tire spin or noise. It sounds to me like you may have a problem.

Well I just did a 600+ mile trip to Las Vegas and back, and didn't seem to have any problems, my truck just hit 10,000 and the engine seems a bit more powerfull like it finished it's break in period. So it could just be that and I am getting used to it. Also the weather is changing and is getting warmer and dryer, the dryer air will turn more HP.

So I will keep an eye on it but I think it will be ok...
