Hmmm...are you sure you want to go that big? My concern would be loss of low-end power. In order to offset that, you would have to put some very, very low profile tires on the new wheels and then you may experience a very rough ride.
I lost a lot of low end power going from stock 17's to aftermarket 18's with some hefty 285x60's....overall the height difference on mine was 3" taller than stock.

Wink

This is a photoshop inhanced version of my S'crew. I Lowered my truck and pasted Chrome HRE type 646 rims over my stock 17's. I tried to lower and size the rims to replicate what doubleduece's whould look like with a 4/6in' drop. "Watch out Hot August Nights!"

I went through the same dilemna..go 17, 18 or 20..didn't want anything over 20..I wanted to keep a little more rubber onthe wheel..you go to tall of a rim..you will get all rim and no rubber..and man if you hit something or touch a curb..there goes your rim..I decided to go with 18" rims with 285/60...absolutely love them..we recently had rain in CA and they handle very nice in wet weather..in dry pavement...outstanding..the 285/60 give me that nice fat tire look..again all personal preference..you gotta go with what looks good to you! Good luck!

Alpha,
Do you have any tire rubbing with the 285/60's and the belltech drop. The reason I ask is, I was going to buy a set of Boyd Timeless 18's for my truck and the guy told me to go with the 18x8 and put a 275/60 tire on it, If I was going to do a 2/4 drop. He said I would have rubbing, tires sticking out of fenderwells, etc.
Thanks

I have 295/45R20's on simply a 2" rear shackle drop, and I only get minor rubbing on the front on full turns. Looks great.
