Lowering questions

Hello all- sorry for the question- I'm sure its been asked and answered before, but the search feature is broken!

I have a 2001 Screw with about 7000 miles on it. I just purchased the front spindles and springs for a 2001 HD Screw from a guy who lifted is HD- looked way cool by the way!
Does anyone know how far these will drop the front? What do I need to drop the rear evenly- shackles, hangers, or both? Also, I remember there were some installation difficulties with the rear hangers/ shackles, but I dont remember what they were. Can anyone refresh my memory?

ANSWER #1: Harleys sit 1 inch lower in the front than standard 2wd F150s.
ANSWER #2: Drop shackles
ANSWER #3: Be extremely careful to "unload" the rear springs before disassembly. Read up on the procedure in a manual. Use proper jacks and axle/frame blocking before sliding under. Also, some posters on this site have experienced a misaligned driveline angle, which caused vibration and excessive wear on the u-joints and transmission tail housing bearing when the drop is more than 1 inch. A re-shimming of the rear axle solves the problem. Some have even experienced the problem with only a 1 inch drop.
